The result is a responsive, balanced instrument with the depth and character expected of an early 20th-century Steinway, combined with the reliability and stability of a modern rebuild. Tuned and voiced, and ready for serious playing in a home or studio setting.

Cabinet fully prepared and refinished in black high-gloss polyester
Polyurethane insulating layer applied to cabinet (specially treated for rosewood veneer)
Top lid fitted with double prop stick
Solid music desk installed with desk prop
New polished brass music desk hinges fitted
Grand piano music desk hinges installed
Full interior restoration completed, including:
Restringing with new tuning pins (bass and treble)
Soundboard shimming and lacquering
Plate refinished/sprayed
New Delignit pinblock installed
Bridges recapped
Duplex bars and plate screws nickel plated
Soundboard decal screen-printed
Keyboard, action, and damper system fully restored and regulated
New grand knuckles (rollers) installed
