This 5’10″ Kawai KG‑2C in polished black delivers a warm, rich tone with a broad dynamic range—ideal for home studios or performance spaces. The KG series, built in Japan, features a solid spruce soundboard, vacuum‑molded “V‑Pro” plate, full duplex scale, and smooth composite action, known for its expressive tone and dynamic range. This piano features Kawai’s signature mellow sound – “biased towards bass and treble… a little bit richer, and more mellow” compared to brighter Yamaha voices.

The Kawai KG series is one of the most popular and highly sought after grand pianos which were released in the early 1980s in Japan. Approx. 300,000 units were sold worldwide.
